property was absolutely great, with excellent staff and marvellous location close to restaurants. location: the hotel was really close to night life and bars, shops, and a ferry to lisbon and other areas which offer more tourist amenities.

Casa Barr in Trafaria is a convenient hotel to explore a vibrant area with lots of nightlife and bars. the staff are friendly, the rooms are modern, spacious, and come with a balcony. the location of the hotel is fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at this place, the location was perfect with bars and restaurants in close proximity.

Loved the posh vibe of the property and the pool area was divine. The continental breakfast was decent, but the owner's non-stop bragging about it was a real treat.

Oh, the joy of being restricted to certain time frames by the pool and feeling uncomfortable passing guests having meals. And no eating or drinking anywhere?

I had an amazing time staying at this hotel! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, giving it a luxurious feel. The double aspect windows filled the room with sunlight all day, and the blackout blinds ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The poolside facilities were peaceful and the sunbeds were comfortable, perfect for relaxing. I couldn't have asked for a better breakfast - it was excellent and could be booked whenever I wanted, allowing me to sleep in if I wished. The staff, especially Sante and Martha, were amazing! They greeted us with sunny smiles and provided really good customer service throughout our stay. I would like to thank Pedro, Sante, and Martha for ensuring that our stay was great.

relaxing stay for a couple of nights. beautifully decorated rooms, spacious and comfortable. great base to explore nearby beaches. felt like visiting family with friendly and funny staff. tasty breakfast. located in a small town with plenty of dining options. convenient transportation to other towns and Lisbon center.

Unpleasant welcome upon arrival.

Refreshing Pool: The highlight of my stay was definitely the outdoor swimming pool at Casa BARR. Taking a dip in the pool felt like diving into a cool oasis on a scorching summer day. It was the perfect way to relax and cool off after a day of exploring Trafaria.

Limited Pool Time: Pool access at Casa BARR was unfortunately restricted to certain time frames, which felt a bit restrictive.

Our bedroom was gorgeous and spacious, with beautiful decor. the location was great, close to the boat to Belem and amazing beach bars at Praia de Sao Joao. A Taberna restaurant was excellent. Cheaper than staying in Lisbon.

The value for money at Casa Barr was excellent, and the room was bright, comfortable, and clean. The location near the water and ferry terminal provided a nice view, and the staff, especially Pedro, treated us with really good kindness and warmth.

Breakfast items could be improved with more variety or options.

Casa Barr was a fantastic place to stay. Pedro, the host, was extremely nice and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, from recommending local restaurants to helping us book taxis. the bedroom was gorgeous, spacious, and beautifully decorated. the location was great, close to the river and the beach bars at Praia de São João. it was a great little location and much cheaper than staying in Lisbon. Cons: All good! 👍.
